Punto y Arte launches its new website. After many months of work, we have completely revamped the store: a new, cleaner design with larger photos, and several tools designed for what you really need when you embroider: ordering your threads with a photo of your chart, choosing the right kit, and knowing how much fabric to buy. In this article, we show you everything new and how to make the most of it.
A new design: clearer, faster, and easier to read
The new homepage starts with an idea that represents us: embroidering like painting. We have given more space to images so you can see each kit in detail, organized the categories so you can get to what you are looking for faster, and lightened the website so it loads quickly on mobile too.
And a new feature that many of you asked for: the "Large text" button. It is at the top, next to the search bar. With one tap, all the text on the website appears larger, so you can comfortably read descriptions, sizes, and prices.

A search bar that understands DMC numbers
In the search bar you can type the name of a kit, a brand… or directly the color number your chart requires, for example 310 or 3865. The results appear as you type.
"We help you choose your kit"
With more than 3,000 kits in the store, choosing can be difficult. That is why we have created a kit finder on the homepage: you answer four questions —your level (from beginner to expert), the size you want, the style you like (vintage, fantasy, realistic and classic, children's, traditional and sampler…) and how much you want to spend— and we show you only the kits that suit you.
The DMC color chart, on screen
We have added the DMC Mouliné Spécial color chart to the website, with more than 500 colors. Type the number you need and you have it right in front of you, with its price and the button to add it to the cart.

Star feature: order your threads with a photo
Are you looking at your chart's color key with twenty or thirty colors? There is no longer a need to copy them one by one. With the order by photo:
- you choose whether you want DMC or Luca-S threads;
- you take a photo of the chart's color key or your written list (or choose it from your phone's gallery);
- we read the numbers and show them to you so you can check them;
- you click "Add all to cart" and that's it.
A tip: take the photo in good light and without shadows, and always check the list before adding it.

Quick order: type the numbers and that's it
If you prefer to type it yourself, in Quick order you can:
- type each DMC number and how many skeins you want, row by row;
- paste your list exactly as you have it written, one color per line (for example
310 x 2);
You click "Add all to cart" and that's it: all the threads at once.
What fabric does your design need? The fabric calculator
Choose the fabric count (Aida 14, 16, 18 or 20 ct, Lugana 25, Cashel 28, Belfast 32, Edinburgh 36…) and the color, and you will see the Zweigart fabric at full size. Enter the width and height stitches of your design and the margin you want to leave, and we will tell you how big your embroidery will be and how much fabric you need to buy, along with the pieces from our store that suit you.

And also, small details that make a difference
- Favorites: save the kits you like with a heart and always find them in My favorites.
- Quick view and side cart: look at a product and add it to the cart without leaving the page you are on.
- Filters in the collections to go directly to what interests you.
- Recently viewed: the products you have looked at are waiting for you on every product page.
- Your points, in plain sight: on every product you will see how many points you earn by purchasing it.

It works with DMC and Luca-S threads. For other brands, use the search bar or write to us in the chat and we will help you.
Where can I find quick order and order by photo?
