Those who want to discover embroidery will find with AIDA fabric many possibilities to easily introduce themselves to the traditional art of cross stitch. Thanks to the special weaving technique with unambiguous embroidery squares, stitch counting is greatly facilitated. With different stitches ranging from 1.5 to 8 stitches per cm, experts also appreciate the multiple possibilities of this special fabric developed in 1907 by ZWEIGART®.
AIDA fabric is used as a universal basis for cross stitch work due to its clear, unambiguous perforated structure and special weave. Thanks to the arrangement of 4 threads in the warp and weft respectively, small boxes are formed that can have different sizes depending on the arrangement.
The size of these squares can be adapted, producing finer fabrics for experienced users or coarser AIDA fabrics for beginners.
ZWEIGART® offers in this range a unique variety of dots and colors that encourage unlimited creativity. Both large cross stitch patterns and detailed, filigree designs can be created and worked on.
